How long does a typical service take?
Quartz battery and seal work is usually ready within two to three working days. Crystal replacements take three to five days depending on part availability. A full mechanical rebuild is typically two to four weeks — the movement needs time to settle during regulation.
Do I need an appointment to drop off my watch?
Walk-ins are welcome during opening hours. If you'd like to discuss the watch in detail before leaving it, booking a short consultation helps us give you proper attention without other work interrupting. Use the contact form or call ahead.
Will you contact me before replacing any parts?
Yes, always. If our inspection turns up worn parts beyond what was initially expected, we'll describe them, explain our thinking, and wait for your decision before proceeding. Nothing additional is fitted without your consent.
What types of watches do you work on?
We handle a wide range — everyday quartz pieces, Swiss automatics, vintage hand-wound movements, and dress watches of various origins. Complicated pieces (tourbillons, perpetual calendars) are assessed individually; please contact us first with details.
Are the service prices fixed or estimates?
The listed prices are starting points for standard cases. If a watch requires additional work — unusual gasket sizes, non-stock crystals, or movement parts — we'll quote the difference separately and clearly before any work begins.
How should I care for my watch between services?
Keep it away from strong magnetic fields (speaker housings, some bag clasps), avoid impacts to the crystal, and store automatic pieces wound or on a quiet surface. We include a short care note with every returned watch.
